This high quality fluorescent fixture with a plastic cloud shaped lens features an energy saving, instant-on, electronic ballast, which accepts energy saving T8 lamps as well as the larger old fashioned T12 lamps. The baked on powder coat finish is applied to the metal AFTER the metal is stamped out, cut and put together unlike competitors fixtures where the metal is painted first, THEN CUT, then bent, producing a terrible finish and leaving razor sharp bare metal edges that cut hands easily, and rust quickly.
